Awana Orientation and Basic Training
We will be providing orientation and basic training for anyone interested in helping with Awana this Fall. This training is for new and old leaders alike. Saturday August 16 8:30 - 2:30 here at the Church. Our Awana Missionary will be here. There will be lunch for $8. If you are interested in attending, please contact Anne Smith.
Children's Church is in need of teachers and helpers for the fall. Please contact Anne Smith if you are interested in helping with this ministry.
Volunteers Needed for the Sound Booth
Do You Love Music?
We need volunteers to help out in our Music Ministry in teh sound booth. Training will be provided, and a rotation schedule will ensure that you can be away if needed. If you think you'd be interested, please contact Gayle Snedecor 979.849.7387 for more information.
 
It’s Christmas in July...and August!
We will be collecting items to be given at Christmas to 300 school
children in Kochan, Bulgaria (first through eighth grade). Please
bring your donations of small toys, school supplies, clothing,
jewelry, socks, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc to the box in the church
foyer. The gifts will be sent to Bulgaria in Sept-Oct, and the
missionary family in Sofia will assemble these items into bags or
boxes. If you want to have a white Christmas and to participate in
the actual delivery of these gifts in December,
please contact James or Marsha Byrd.
