How do I get started?

If you are interested in biblical counseling, there are three (3) steps to follow.

Step 1: Read the Counseling Policy.  This is very important, as it will set the foundation for what biblical counseling is, and what is expected of counselees.

Step 2: Read and Sign the Consent to Counsel.  This document needs to be read, signed and notarized.  If you do not have access to a Notary Public, you can bring the document in unsigned, and it can be notarized at the church.

Step 3: Complete the Personal Data Inventory.  This information is critical to pairing you with a biblical counselor, as well as allowing the counselor to prepare for your case.  You can either download the document to fill in and email to, or you can print the document, complete it, then return it to the church.

Once all of the forms have been read, completed, and returned to the church, please allow 1-2 weeks for a member of the biblical counseling ministry to contact you.

If you are ready to get started, please click on Step 1 on the right, and begin with the counseling policy.

If you still have questions, you can click on the Contact A Counselor link, email a message to, or call the church at 979-849-7220.
