If you are interested in biblical counseling, there are three (3) steps to follow.
Step 1: Read the Counseling Policy. This is very important, as it will set the foundation for what biblical counseling is, and what is expected of counselees.
Step 2: Read and Sign the Consent to Counsel. This document needs to be read, signed and notarized. If you do not have access to a Notary Public, you can bring the document in unsigned, and it can be notarized at the church.
Step 3: Complete the Personal Data Inventory. This information is critical to pairing you with a biblical counselor, as well as allowing the counselor to prepare for your case. You can either download the document to fill in and email to counseling@yoursecondfamily.org, or you can print the document, complete it, then return it to the church.
Once all of the forms have been read, completed, and returned to the church, please allow 1-2 weeks for a member of the biblical counseling ministry to contact you.
If you are ready to get started, please click on Step 1 on the right, and begin with the counseling policy.
If you still have questions, you can click on the Contact A Counselor link, email a message to counseling@yoursecondfamily.org, or call the church at 979-849-7220.
