We understand that there may be times in life where you just need a helping hand. In fact, many people are doing well in some parts of their life while struggling in others. Biblical Counseling is a form of discipleship that is focused on a specific area of life. Now might be the time when you need someone to come alongside and encourage you from the Bible.
There is hope!
We believe that God has given us all we need to know Him and live in a way that is pleasing to Him(2 Peter 1:3). His Word, the Bible, is completely sufficient to address all areas of life, for teaching, for correction, for reproof, and for training in righteousness(2 Timothy 3:16-17). All our difficulties may not evaporate. However, when a person willingly submits to God's instructions and clings to His promises there is help - and hope!
SBC Biblical Counseling Ministry
Here at SBC Angleton we say that we 'exist for the glory of God, by loving God, loving others, and making disciples.' The counseling ministry is dedicated to fulfilling this purpose in one-on-one or small group settings, and training others to live it out in their own lives.
What is the cost for biblical counseling?
SBC does not charge for counseling sessions. However, because there is a cost associated with materials for homework assignments, we ask that each counselee make a $25 contribution to cover materials. If you cannot afford to make this contribution, scholarships are available.
